With so many products out there and various individual needs and preferences, I want to tell you about the 10 beauty products I personally can’t live without. We all have our favorite beauty products that we can’t live without. What that list looks like depends on our unique beauty needs, such as taming frizzy hair, hydrating dry skin, or reducing eye bags. I love these products, and I hope you’ll find one that works for you too!
1.L’oréal Paris Pure-Clay Cleanser ($7)
This everyday exfoliant cleanser combines three pure clays and red algae to remove dirt and oils and provide a smooth finish. To apply, you squeeze the cleanser into your hands and rub them together until the cleanser forms a mousse. After I use it, my pores and other imperfections are less visible, and my skin feels refreshed!
2. Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Clay Mask ($30)
I use this mask twice per week, and I absolutely love it! At times my nose can look like a cratered moonscape. But this clay mask does a great job of removing the pore-clogging dirt and oils, smoothing my skin so that my pores are less apparent and my makeup goes on flawlessly.
3.Kate Somerville Nourish Daily Moisturizer ($65)
Even though I’m over 50, my T-zone still gets shiny and oily. I love this moisturizer because it hydrates my skin without feeling heavy and greasy. It comes in a jar that pumps out the perfect amount for one application so that you never use more than you need. I have a bi-monthly subscription for Nourish on Amazon Prime which saves me $5 on each purchase.
4.Supergoop! Advanced Anti-Aging Eye Cream with Oat Peptides SPF 37 ($50)
I have been using this product for about a month in the morning and at night, and I notice a big difference in my fine lines and wrinkles! Not only does this product have SPF protection, but its natural oat peptides stimulate collagen production and hydrate your skin to make it more firm! As a bonus, it has minerals that reduce the appearance of dark circles too!
5.IT Cosmetics CC+ Cream with SPF 50+ ($40)
Just a tiny dab of this product spread with a brush or sponge is enough to cover the entire face and last the whole day. I never worry about applying extra sunscreen to my face when I wear my makeup, and my skin always looks natural and feels hydrated.
6. L’oréal Paris Voluminous Curved Brush Mascara and Lash Primer ($10)
Finding a great mascara can be difficult, especially if you have thin lashes like me. The volumizing mascaras can be clumpy and flaky, while other mascaras are barely visible. I’ve tried both high-end and drugstore mascaras, but none have been more effective at making my lashes look thicker than the L’oréal Voluminous mascara and primer. I had almost given up on finding the perfect mascara until a friend recommended it. Guess what! I have no clumps, and my lashes appear thick and voluminous just like the name!
7. Peter Thomas Roth Lashes to Die for Turbo Conditioning Lash Enhancer ($85)
This lash enhancer has a hefty price tag, but it lasts forever and is well worth it! I apply it to the base of my lashes every night, and my lashes are about 75% longer than they were before I began using it. It takes about three weeks to see longer, thicker lashes! A 0.16 oz bottle lasts about six months. Considering how long it lasts and the fabulous results, I would recommend this product over lash extensions any day.
8.Kevin.Murphy Ever.Smooth Heat-Activated Style Extender ($40)
This is not the first time I’ve recommended Kevin.Murphy Ever.Smooth as one of the beauty products that I can’t live out. And I will recommend it every chance I get because it is that good! I have to blow out my hair every day because it is so frizzy. Before using Ever.Smooth, my hair was frizzy even with a blowout. Ever.Smooth changed everything! I spray it on before I blow-dry and I now have silky smooth and shiny hair with no frizz. It also acts as a heat protectant. Of all the products I recommend, this is the one beauty product that I absolutely can’t live without.
9.L’oréal Paris Revitalift Anti-Wrinkle Firming Night Cream ($15)
I want products that work, whether they are $10 or $100. If I can find an inexpensive product that works just as well as a top-shelf product, that’s ideal! This is one of those inexpensive products that work great! I love to use it every night after I remove my makeup. It is enriched with pro-retinol A, which fights wrinkles and makes the skin look younger.
10.Coconut Oil ($10)
Speaking of inexpensive, coconut oil is an incredible all-over moisturizer that you can buy in the bakery section of your supermarket. According to Healthline.com, one study found that coconut oil led to a 68% decrease in eczema severity, and it was much more effective than mineral oil in treating eczema. I put it on when I get out of the shower. But be sure and let it soak into your skin before you get dressed.
